Oh wow! The fish SANDWICH WAS TREMENDOUS i loved every bite. I will return.

Had not been there in years due to health issues, price was a bit more but still a great value. I had the fish sandwich, managed to eat the whole thing, most days could probably only eat half but I was fish hungry. Most people split these or eat on for several days, must be about a pound of fried fish.

It's a mom and Pop restaurant 😁.They have a famous fish sandwich that was pretty good. If you like salt, ask them to season it more. Besides that, it was great

Fish sandwich great. None of the employees wore a mask which was very concerning though. Lots of flies everywhere. Had to ask for utencils for 4 people they only gave us 1. There was a kid bending over and cleaning the grounds. Sweet kid said hi to us.

Best fried catfish sandwich I’ve ever had... rustic and simple place but the star here is the famous fish, as they refer to the sandwich well served with the most generous portion of fish in between two buns you will see in your life. Friendly personnel.Well done Chef Bantam! Highly recommend! I must cume while traveling through the I-95 Palmcoast area.

My family and I go there every time we in town. We used to leave there and when we travel we have to make a stop and get some famous fish burgers.

Always very good, fresh food at great prices. However the clam strip dinner isn't worth anything, you get like 3 servings of fries and about 15 pieces of clam strip. But everything else I've ever got has huge portions.

Been here several times and can’t wait to go back for more. Yummy fish big sandwich and mushrooms with the meal . Glad my bff lives in Palm Coast cause she can deliver in Ormond Beach to me . Love everything about this place!!

By the look this probably wouldn't be your first choice of places to eat but I was born in FL and lived in bunnell until I was 15 and this place has always been a favorite. If you're looking for good food this is the locals best kept secret. The fish sandwiches are huge and absolutely amazing. My family and I always make sure we come here Everytime we are in FL. My husband and son both love the flounder sandwiches and 1 is big enough for sharing.

Pretty tasty for diner food! We got their famous fish sandwich (ENORMOUS) and their cheese steak (our FAV!) and a cheeseburger. If you’re craving greasy and tasty (but quality too) this is your place. We will be back, if only for the ambiance of their solo outdoor table!

Not a fan of seafood but my dad is and he said this place has great seafood! And it is priced very responsibly. Would definitely recommend if you are a fan of seafood. It is also a very chill location. Looks like a lot of laid back cool people there

Mr.Turtle traveled 100 mile round trip based on a tip from his son AND boy was he right!!! The fish sandwich? OMG...it was OUTSTANDING! Price doesn't do it justice, get one before they realize they should raise the price! Was SPECTACULAR! see pics, I thought this mountain of fish was going to cave in on me. They have other yummy stuff available BUT are known for their fish. The Bantam Chef is a nice "roadside" place. Seating outdoors, covered tables, clean restrooms, fast service BUT you might have to wait at times (we were there at 4:30 on Monday & waited but a couple of minutes).Mr.Turtle will DEFINITELY return next time we're in Florida. Bring an empty stomach or a good cooler for leftovers, you ain't gonna eat their fish sandwich without leftovers.

The place looks questionable, but the food is awesome! The only seating is outside, but its nice in the shady pavilion they have for seating.

Excellent piled high fried fish sandwich! It’s delicious and we get it with their awesome coleslaw. Service is great and fast and convenient.

This was undoubtedly the best fish sandwich I ever had and it was super sized for sure. My hubby got 1 -1/2 sandwiches tonight. That was a bit much for me to eat but again it was GREAT!!!!! We will probably be weekly visitors of this place. . Just a little seafood shack with great service, friendly people & fantastic fish sandwiches. I would give it a “10”.

The fish sandwich is a classic. Fries are amazing, burgers are great too. They have a nice big menu and everything sounds great, but I never stray from my usual order.

I was really impressed at how light the batter was and how fresh the seafood was. It was absolutely delicious! We will be back!

Soap in the bathroom and hand sanitizer would be appreciated so much.

Great people, Amazing food. They catered a lunch for 115 of our employees and the experience was flawless. The only negative would be that the food was so good our employees went into a food coma. 10/10 experience. If you visit in St. Augustine ask for Dewayne, his passion to create a great customer service experience makes this place a must visit!

Love the seafood but the fries would be if they were fresh instead of frozen but otherwise very good

My husband and I really enjoyed it! Shawn couldn't finish the fish sandwich it was so big. The chicken sandwich was delicious!

It was alright it wasn't seasoned perfectly but the hush puppies and onion rings are good.

Wow! What a great seafood shack. Kinda off the main drag but what a great find. Really good prices for the amount of food you get.

It was every bit as good as its reputation! Stopped for lunch and even with the line service was quick and efficient. The fish was as good as promised - 1 sandwich was at least 12 ounces of crispy fried goodness.

I don't understand the hula. It's average. Yesterday worse than average. Fish, shrimp and oysters. The shrimp were small and oysters burnt to non recognition, fish with no seasoning and of course, a lot of fries. But I saw a new place, went there today, nice plump shrimp, oyster that were burnt and seasoned fries all for under 15.00. See ya

Best fish sandwich hands down!! And massive, holy wow!! It's definitely sharable, and delicious!!

First off my wife and I spent 40 bucks on dinner here and thought we were getting a good deal.... Wrong fries were tasteless. My kids wouldn't even eat them. Then the cole slaw was all over the to go box soaking into all the food. Then the shrimp dinner was exactly that lil baby shrimp butterflied to make them look bigger. So all in all worst experience ever.
